Introspection to Integrity

"The understanding of self which comes with introspection provides the responsible leader with one of the most fundamental attributes of effective leadership- integrity. In the meaning here intended, integrity implies that a person has developed over time, a consistent ordering of his systems of values, attitudes, and goals. In common terms, he has come to know his own mind, conscious and unconscious, and for what he stands and for what he will fight."

-J. Douglas Brown as Quoted in "You've Got Charisma" by Lloyd John Ogilvie, p.48.
