'The place whereon thou standest is holy ground...'

“Earth’s crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God; And only he who sees takes off his shoes.” - Elizabeth Browning

If you want to read a really short, supercool talk click here... its called "Seeking the Spirit of God."

Drenched in mercy

Drenched In Mercy

Like a newborn baby
I am held in Heaven's Hands
I am born of a Savior's grace
And I am drenched in mercy

Like a baptized soul in fire
I am washed in pardon
All my blessings, all my lot
I am drenched in mercy

Every breath of every day
A gift, a wondrous life
Every heart beat moves my blood
And I am drenched in mercy.

"All these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good"

"At the very moment when I was ready to sink into despair and abandon myself to destruction... just at this moment of great alarm, I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head..."
Joseph Smith, Jr.

... and there was a great calm

So after not having control for a few days, its calm again. A professor at school said, "research says that the four important components to being happy are 1) control, 2) optimism, 3) commitment, 4) close relationships." Take control yo... shoot. So this photo up there is of me in control. This one below is of me not in control

And I pretty much wasn't in control last weekend when I was rocking air guitar so passionately that I hit my thumb on my belt buckle and made my finger bleed... dang.

Here are a few ideas on how to take control: put up more calendars... show your control by playing out your favorite song... just keep hitting the replay button folks.

"And There are Many that Now Stand"

The title of my blog tells you that I will only post things that are cool enough to be called "tight." I got the title from an amazing story about some folks that fled from the Tower of Babel and built some barges to cross a huge ocean. But the cool thing was that God told them how to travel and how to have light in their barges, and get air. If you want to read it click HERE.

Thought this picture would help add to the big picture.

I read that there are 100 billion billion stars in the universe. That's 10 to the 2oth power.
And yes, the picture up there is the Burning Bush... bam.
